2. Cleaning up the garden

3. Autumn planting of cuttings or bulbs
You can never start gardening too early (or too young!). In the autumn, you can plant bulbs or bare-root plants to help them grow and flower better in the spring. This allows kids to track the entire process and see what they worked on in the autumn in the spring. Let kids dig and plant using their own garden tools and children's gloves.
