SQUIRRELS CREATE FORESTS
Squirrels are very forgetful. Squirrels do not eat their seeds right away, but they hide their food supplies in different places so that they have a supply for the winter. They simply forget about these stashes. For instance, forgotten nuts that have been buried can germinate into new trees, this is why squirrels play an important role in our ecosystem.
Besides planting trees, squirrel also spread fungal spores from mushrooms, which allow other plant species to grow, this is because they provide them with water and other nutrients.
